Artist Promotion....My Favourites

Wed Aug 26, 2009, 2:20 AM
I wanted to update this a little bit, to add some newer works, people etc. Just incase anyone randomly comes across my page it will hopefully show off my friends to the best of their potential. I haven't changed a lot yet it is too difficult to choose favourites, but when I have time I will sit down and do it properly.

1. Draximillian :icondraximillian:

A wonderful artist, and probably my best friend in the whole world. I am biased in that I love everything he draws. I especially adore the contrast of black and white that characterises so many of his pieces, and tatoo designs. Also a little biased in my first choice as that was drawn for me, but it was a departure from his usual work so I wanted to include it here...

2. CatgirlKari :iconcatgirlkari:

I love the animated style and subtle but striking use of light in this artists pieces, they are beautiful and intriguing. I especially love 'The one who was forgotten' very evocative...

Un Flambeau Jeanette Isabella A Bar Called Purgatory The One Who Was Forgotten

3. Lunarsparks :iconlunarsparks:

A wonderfully supportive friend, who's advice has helped me emmensely. Choosing favourites from her work is so difficult, I wanted to pick a piece that showed the colour use that I love so much. I also love her pencil works and I adore elephants so that one wasn't such a hard choice...

The Snowflake Werewolf Pencils Happy Elephant Blood and Heart

4. China-Hartz :iconchina-hartz:

An artist who shares my passion for fantasy characters and changeling drawings, who produces beautiful pencil work. I love the way the faces she draws feel real, like you could find them if you looked hard enough. I am also in awe of the her ability to draw faces at any angle and capture emotions flawlessly...

Eva Bow Countess Elise Duke Montaque Watercolour Annabelle

5. Pink Palette :iconpink-palette:

A very good friend who is a wonderfully talented painter. I love her use of greys, white and black to create her paintings, and the feel that comes from them. Her ability to capture reality and faces is fantastic. Here are a few of my favourites ...
